PPS Fluid levels

We offer acoustic fluid levels in either a strip chart or digital format, although the fluid level
information is the same, requiring more in depth well analysis should use the Well Analyzer.

The Process

The gas gun generates an acoustic pulse which travels through the wellbore gas. The pulse reflects from tubing collars and liquid level. The number of collars counted multiplied by the average tubing length determines the distance to fluid.

Acoustic velocity can also be used in cases where counting tubing collars is not available. Lab celling timing marks are used to measure the distance traveled over time.
